The primary responsibilities of the Phlebotomist will include: drawing blood from patients, collecting and preparing specimens for laboratory tests, following safety protocols for handling needles and other medical equipment, maintaining accurate records of collected samples, answering questions from patients and other staff members regarding procedures.

The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent certification and previous experience as a phlebotomist. They should also be able to perform under pressure with attention to detail and accuracy, while demonstrating strong interpersonal skills when interacting with patients. The successful candidate will also have an understanding of laws related to patient privacy (HIPAA) as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.
