Job Responsibilities
β’ Install, repair, calibrate, adjust, troubleshoot and maintain instrumentation systems and equipment
β’ Check instruments for accuracy or proper functioning
β’ Provide technical support for instrumentation related activities
β’ Monitor instrument performance on a regular basis
β’ Respond professionally to emergency calls from customers
β’ Ensure compliance with safety standards at all times
β’ Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities
Qualifications
β’ Proven experience as an Instrument Technician
β’ Certificate or diploma in engineering/electrical/electronics or equivalent training program is preferred
β’ Excellent knowledge of electrical circuitry, electronic devices and principles of operation
β’ Basic computer skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications β’ Good communication skills; Ability to work independently without supervision β’ Ability to troubleshoot problems quickly and efficiently; Strong attention to detail
