Job Title: Optometrist

Location: Al-Kuwait
Salary: 1700 KD/month

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Optometrist to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing vision care services to patients, including eye examinations and prescribing corrective lenses.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, including testing visual acuity, examining the eyes for signs of disease or abnormality, and ordering appropriate tests
• Diagnose and treat vision problems such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, and presbyopia
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, low vision aids, and other devices to correct eyesight problems
• Monitor the progress of visual development in children
• Educate patients on proper eye health care
• Maintain patient records using electronic health records (EHR) software
• Refer patients to other healthcare professionals as needed
• Keep up with current developments in optometry through continuing education courses

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or equivalent qualification
• Licensed to practice optometry in Al-Kuwait or foreign equivalent license accepted by Kuwait government • At least 3 years of clinical experience as an optometrist preferred • Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly attitude towards patients • Proficient with EHR software systems
