JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and components.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university/college.
• At least 3 years of experience working as an Electrical Engineer.
• Knowledge of electrical system design, installation, maintenance and repair.
• Understanding of safety regulations and standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Designing and implementing cost-effective electrical systems by determining project requirements; researching and testing electrical components; identifying appropriate materials; following codes and regulations.
• Installing electrical systems by establishing wiring connections; non-electrical components; following national codes; testing systems for proper functioning.
• Maintaining electrical systems by troubleshooting system malfunctions; repairing damaged components; replacing outdated equipment; performing preventive maintenance inspections.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations by adhering to established safety practices; verifying code compliance with local authorities.
• Preparing technical reports by collecting data outlining system malfunctions, operation performance, or project status.
