Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Al-Kuwait. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire logistics process from start to finish. You will be expected to manage the transportation of goods, coordinate warehousing, and ensure that delivery times are met. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills as well as a strong understanding of the industry.

Responsibilities:

- Plan and coordinate the shipment of goods within Kuwait as well as internationally.
- Ensure that orders are delivered in a timely manner according to customer requirements.
- Monitor freight performance and adjust delivery schedules accordingly.
- Track shipments on a daily basis and provide regular updates to customers on the status of their orders.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and manage their relationships effectively.
- Develop logistics plans that optimize cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
- Prepare reports on logistical performance and related metrics for management review.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration or related field preferred but not required.
- 3+ years of experience in logistics coordination or related roles is highly desired.
- Excellent organizational abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors effectively.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines consistently.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
