Librarian with Visa Sponsorship (India Preferred) – Sharjah, UAE

We are searching for an experienced and highly motivated Librarian to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. The successful candidate should possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a passion for books and knowledge.
The duties of the Librarian will include but not be limited to:
• Organizing books and other library materials according to established procedures
• Maintaining library records such as circulation, acquisitions, catalogs, and inventory
• Assisting patrons in locating resources using the library catalog system
• Instructing patrons in the use of library resources such as the catalog system and databases
• Developing library programs to encourage reading among adults and children
• Keeping abreast of new technologies related to libraries
• Supervising student assistants or volunteers in the library
