Optometrist – Al Kuwait (1700 salary)

We are looking for an Optometrist to join our team at Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services including eye examinations, diagnosis and management of a variety of ocular diseases and vision disorders. We are ready to consider a foreigner with no experience.

Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive eye examinations to assess ocular health, vision acuity and refractive errors
• Diagnose, manage and treat ocular diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and others
• Prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses according to patient's needs
• Educate patients about good eye health habits
• Maintain detailed patient records
• Provide referrals to other medical specialists when needed
• Adhere to professional standards, regulations and ethics codes set by the state board of optometry.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or related field
• Certification or license as an optometrist in Al-Kuwait (if applicable)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse patient population
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team of professionals.
