Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and organized Dental Assistant to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing patients for treatment, taking care of patients’ needs, sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, maintaining all dental equipment in the clinic, and assisting the dentist. The role comes with a salary of 900 per month and we are ready to consider candidates from abroad.

Responsibilities
• Greeting patients as they arrive at the clinic
• Preparing them for treatment by taking their vital signs
• Assisting the dentist during appointments by handing them instruments or supplies as needed
• Taking X-rays of patients’ teeth as required
• Ensuring patient safety during dental treatments by monitoring vital signs
• Sterilizing and disinfecting dental instruments before and after use
• Maintaining all dental equipment in the clinic such as suction devices, drills, autoclaves etc.
• Assisting with laboratory tasks such as making impressions of teeth or taking measurements
• Keeping records of patient visits and treatments performed
• Ordering supplies when needed.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant preferred but not essential
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and pay attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with patients
• Knowledge of basic anatomy, physiology, medical terminology and pharmacology
• Proficiency in using computers is essential
