Sommelier – Dubai

Salary: 900 AED per month

We are looking for an experienced Sommelier to join our restaurant in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for selecting and serving wine to customers, as well as providing expert advice on food and wine pairings. We are open to considering immigrant candidates with minimal work experience.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure the quality and maintenance of a comprehensive wine list
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on the perfect pairings of food and wine
• Assist in organizing special events and wine tastings
• Manage orders, stock, and storage of wines
• Train waitstaff in the basics of wine service, knowledge of wines available, and the principles of food and wine pairing
• Advise customers on the purchase of wine according to their tastes

Requirements:
• Working knowledge of a wide range of wines from around the world
• Excellent customer service skills, including a high degree of tact and diplomacy
• Outstanding organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a busy environment
