Welder Vacancy in Dibba-El-Fujairah

We are looking for an experienced Welder to join our team in Dibba-El-Fujairah. The successful applicant will be responsible for welding components in flat, vertical or overhead positions. We are offering a competitive salary of 1400 for this position and are willing to consider foreign applicants.

Job Description:
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine layout requirements
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in a safe and effective manner
• Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements)
• Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps
• Inspect completed workpieces for accuracy and make adjustments as necessary
• Maintain safe work environment by following standards and procedures
• Monitor equipment performance to detect malfunctions

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification is a plus
• At least 3 years of experience as a welder
• Ability to read blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications or measurements
• Knowledge of the use of appropriate tools (e.g. plasma cutters)
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (e.g. calipers)
