Job Requirements:
To be successful in this position, you must possess excellent communication skills and be comfortable working with patients of all ages. You should also have experience handling medical records and insurance paperwork. You will need to have completed a Medical Assistant certification program or equivalent training program in order to be considered for this role.

Job Description:
The primary responsibility of the Medical Assistant is to provide support to medical staff by performing administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, taking patient histories, preparing lab specimens, and updating medical records. The Medical Assistant will also assist physicians with patient examinations by taking vital signs such as weight and blood pressure readings. Additionally, the Medical Assistant will be expected to maintain cleanliness in exam rooms between patients and provide assistance with general clerical duties such as filing or faxing documents when necessary.
