Job Responsibilities:
• Perform engineering analysis and calculations related to oil and gas exploration and production activities
• Develop plans for oil & gas well drilling operations as well as other related operations such as completion, stimulation and workover operations
• Design the well completion systems including the selection of surface equipment, tools and materials required for drilling operations
• Monitor drilling operations to ensure they comply with safety standards and regulations
• Prepare detailed reports on well activities including engineering data, test results, costs incurred etc.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field is required
• Knowledge of drilling operations & design techniques is essential
• Basic understanding of oil & gas reservoir engineering principles is preferred
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to problem solve
