We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Sommelier to join our team in Dubai. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of staff and providing exemplary customer service in the selection of wines to match with the cuisine offered in our restaurant. You will have the opportunity to work with some of the finest wines from around the world and create memorable experiences for our customers.

The successful candidate will have a passion for wine and be committed to providing an outstanding experience to our customers. Our ideal candidate needs to have excellent communication skills and an eye for detail when suggesting wine pairings with dishes. The ability to provide high-level customer service through knowledge of wine is essential.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee all aspects of wine selection, storage, and service
• Ensure the availability of quality wines ordered from different countries
• Provide expert advice on food and wine pairings
• Conduct tasting sessions for customers
• Keep up to date with changes in the industry
• Train staff on proper service procedures
• Educate staff on food and beverage pairings
• Manage stock levels and order new wines as needed
Qualifications:
• Diploma or Degree in Oenology or related field preferred
• Proven experience working as a Sommelier or senior waiter/waitress in a professional setting
• Excellent knowledge of wines from around the world
• Ability to provide high-level customer service through knowledge of wine
• Excellent organizational skills
