Job Summary

Requirements for the Candidate
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Ability to think critically and accurately analyze mechanical systems
- Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other CAD software
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
- Proficiency with computer skills such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team

Job Responsibilities

- Design mechanical components, tools, machines or systems related to the project objectives
- Develop detailed designs using computer aided engineering (CAE) software
- Test prototypes or finished products to ensure compliance with specific standards or requirements
- Analyze data from tests or field reports to inform design decisions
- Resolve design problems by making modifications as needed
- Prepare detailed reports on the design process including engineering drawings and specifications
- Assist with installation, maintenance and repair activities as needed
