Position: Phlebotomist
Location: Al-Kuwait
Salary: 1700 KD

We are looking for a qualified Phlebotomist to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting and processing blood samples from patients. They must be reliable, accurate and detail-oriented.

This position is open to both local and foreign applicants. We require minimal work experience for this position.

Responsibilities:
• Collect blood samples from patients in accordance with procedural guidelines and safety protocols
• Ensure all samples are properly labeled and stored in a secure environment
• Perform basic laboratory tests on blood samples, such as hemoglobin levels or glucose tests
• Monitor patient vitals such as temperature, pulse rate, and blood pressure upon request
• Follow proper disposal procedures for hazardous materials such as used needles or biohazardous waste
• Provide patient education and emotional support during the sample collection process
• Keep accurate records of all specimens collected and results of tests performed
• Maintain a clean work environment in compliance with safety regulations

Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in medical technology preferred • Certification as a phlebotomist from an accredited program is required • Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred • Ability to remain calm under pressure • Excellent communication skills • Attention to detail • Ability to work independently
