We are looking for a qualified Optometrist to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services to our patients. This includes performing eye examinations, detecting vision problems, prescribing corrective lenses or other treatments and educating patients on how to care for their eyes. You should have excellent customer service skills and be able to provide the highest level of care to our patients. We are ready to consider a foreigner with no prior experience in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Perform eye examinations and tests such as visual acuity tests, depth perception tests, color vision tests and tonometry (measurement of intraocular pressure).
• Diagnose ocular abnormalities and diseases such as glaucoma and cataracts.
• Prescribe corrective lenses such as eyeglasses or contact lenses and suggest lifestyle changes related to vision health.
• Educate patients about eye health and safety measures.
• Maintain accurate records of patient information and diagnoses.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Optometry or related field required.
• Valid license in Optometry from the Ministry of Health required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
• Knowledge of ocular anatomy, physiology, optics and pharmacology preferred.
