Cashier vacancy in Dubai UAE

Cashier - Full Time, Urgent, No English Requirement - Dubai, UAE

We are looking for an experienced Cashier to join our team in Dubai, UAE. You will be responsible for handling cash transactions and providing excellent customer service. Preference will be given to Pakistani and African nationals who can start immediately.

Responsibilities:
- Receive payments by cash, check, credit cards or automatic debits
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change
- Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas
- Answer customers’ questions and provide information on procedures or policies
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction
- Process returns and check to see if items are damaged
- Bag items securely
- Balance cash drawers by counting cash at the end of the shift
- Follow all relevant health department regulations
- Comply with all security regulations

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Cashier or in a similar role in a retail setting
- Good math skills with the ability to handle financial transactions accurately
- Familiarity with electronic equipment such as cash registers and POS systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work long hours standing up
