Job Summary
We are seeking a self-motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Sharjah. The successful applicant will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, and have the opportunity to work with an established team of professionals who are dedicated to creating innovative solutions for our customers. The individual needs to be able to work independently and as part of a team. This position offers an attractive salary of 1500 per month and is open to immigrant applicants.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, constructing, testing, commissioning and maintaining mechanical systems such as engines, turbines, pumps and valves. The incumbent is expected to collaborate with other departments in order to ensure successful completion of projects. Other duties include analyzing data from tests performed on mechanical equipment; developing installation plans; reviewing project specifications and drawings; monitoring the progress of projects; carrying out quality control inspections; troubleshooting problems; performing maintenance tasks; ensuring safety procedures are followed at all times; preparing technical reports; and providing guidance to junior engineers.
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, with minimal work experience required. The individual must be highly organized with excellent problem solving skills. He/she should have the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written in English as well as have strong analytical skills combined with attention to detail. Knowledge of AutoCAD software is preferred but not required. The applicant must also demonstrate strong leadership capabilities as well as the ability to work independently or within a team environment.
