Cashier – Dubai (UAE)
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Cashier for a full-time position in our Dubai office. The ideal candidate should have a good command of English and be able to work without accommodation. We offer free visa and ticket to qualified candidates. Preference will be given to Egyptian nationals.
The Cashier will be responsible for handling customer payments, reconciling cash drawers, counting money, preparing deposits, and providing excellent customer service. The successful candidate should possess an understanding of general accounting principles and have experience using POS systems. We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Accept payments from customers in the form of cash, debit cards, credit cards, or checks
• Accurately record all transactions into the POS system
• Count money in the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
• Process returns and exchanges according to established procedures
• Balance the cash drawer as needed throughout the shift
• Reconcile daily transactions with store records to ensure accuracy of transactions
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers promptly and responding to their inquiries in a courteous manner
Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a Cashier is preferred but not required
• Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles
• Working knowledge of POS systems
• Ability to remain organized while working quickly
• Excellent interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer service
