Job Summary:
We are looking for a friendly and experienced Bartender to join our team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by preparing and serving drinks to customers. You will also need to be knowledgeable about the products we serve, follow health and safety regulations, and maintain the bar area in a clean and orderly condition. Responsibilities:
• Greet customers upon their arrival at the bar area and take their orders.
• Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons.
• Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks as requested.
• Check customers’ identification to ensure they are of legal drinking age.
• Follow all relevant health department regulations when handling food items
• Stock bar with beer, wine, liquor, ice, napkins, straws etc., as needed.
• Clean glasses, utensils, bars counters and other equipment as required by law or company policies/procedures.
• Collect payments from customers; process credit/debit card transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean working area by wiping down surfaces; disposing of rubbish; sweeping floors; restocking items; etc.
• Monitor guests’ consumption of alcohol ensuring no one becomes overly intoxicated while following all local laws/regulations regarding service of alcohol
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required
• A valid work permit in Abu Dhabi is necessary for foreign applicants
• Previous experience as a bartender is preferred but not required
• Must have strong knowledge of beer, wine & spirits
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment is essential
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Outstanding communication skills with excellent customer service focus
