We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a HR Manager in Abu-Dhabi, U.A.E. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience in managing a HR department in the UAE or GCC region. This person must also have a solid understanding of Human Resource principles and practices as well as business acumen.

The primary responsibilities of this role include developing and administering human resources plans and procedures that relate to company personnel; planning, organizing and controlling the activities and actions of the HR department; performing recruitment activities including interviewing, selection and orientation; providing advice on employee relations issues such as disciplinary action; ensuring compliance with labor laws; developing training programs for employees; managing employee benefit plans; preparing reports on personnel matters such as absenteeism, staff turnover etc.; maintaining records on personnel activities such as hiring, transfers and separations etc.; reviewing job descriptions for all positions within the company; maintaining affirmative action programs; developing policies related to benefits administration.

The ideal candidate must possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to effectively communicate with colleagues at all levels within the organization in order to ensure effective implementation of HR initiatives. Excellent organizational skills are also required for this role as is a high level of integrity when dealing with confidential information. A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources Management or Business Administration is essential for this position along with fluency in English (Arabic language skills would be an added advantage).
