Auto Mechanic - Sharjah

We’re looking for an experienced Auto Mechanic to join our team in Sharjah. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing vehicles as needed. The successful candidate will have a minimum of one year experience as an Auto Mechanic.

Job Description

The Auto Mechanic will diagnose and repair automotive systems including engine, brake, transmission, electrical and suspension components. You will read job orders and consult with customers to determine the nature of the service required. You must also perform safety inspections on vehicles and complete repairs according to the customer’s requirements.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle issues using computerized diagnostic equipment
• Repair or replace defective vehicle components
• Perform safety checks on vehicles
• Consult with customers to determine service requirements
• Ensure all repairs are completed accurately within a timely manner
• Maintain organized records of services performed
• Follow all safety protocols when working with power tools and other equipment

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as an auto mechanic
• ASE certification preferred but not required • Ability to maintain accurate records of parts used and services performed • Ability to read drawings/schematics as well as job order instructions • Knowledgeable in use of hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, etc. • Excellent communication skills (verbal/written) • Basic math skills (adding/subtracting) • Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening test

Salary: 1400 AED per month
