Optometrist Job in Al-Kuwait

We are looking for a talented Optometrist to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The position offers a competitive salary of 1500 KD per month and we are willing to consider immigrants for the role.

Job Description:
The Optometrist will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye examinations to diagnose patients’ visual acuity and ocular health. They will also fit contact lenses and eyeglasses, while providing advice on vision care. The optometrist will work closely with our other medical staff to ensure quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive eye examinations including refraction, tonometry, fundoscopy and other tests as required.
• Fit contact lenses and eyeglasses according to prescriptions.
• Provide advice on vision correction options such as LASIK surgery or contact lenses.
• Diagnose common ocular diseases such as glaucoma or cataracts.
• Educate patients on how to maintain good eye health through diet and lifestyle changes.
• Counsel patients on their vision care needs and options available to them.
• Update patient records with examination results, treatment plans, etc.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in optometry from an accredited university
• Licensed optometrist in Al-Kuwait
• At least two years of experience working as an optometrist
• Excellent communication skills

Salary: 1500 KD per month
