Optometrist Job in Doha:

We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Doha. The selected candidate must have a proven track record of delivering excellent patient care and possess the necessary qualifications required for this position. The Optometrist will provide comprehensive eye care services, including prescribing eyeglasses and contact lenses, as well as diagnosing ocular diseases. A salary of 1800 is offered for this role.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Optometry from an accredited college or university
• Valid license to practice Optometry in Qatar
• Comprehensive knowledge of optical principles
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


Responsibilities:
• Take a comprehensive medical history from patients
• Examine eyes using specialized optical equipment
• Determine the best corrective vision solutions for each patient by measuring visual acuity and refraction level of eyesight
• Educate patients about their vision problems and explain the course of treatment
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, or medications as needed to improve vision
• Diagnose and manage ocular diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, etc.
• Monitor the progress of treatment plans
