Welder Vacancy - Sharjah

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Welder to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for the welding of a variety of materials such as aluminum, steel, copper, and other alloys. This position offers a competitive salary of 1200 per month. Foreigners are welcome to apply.

Duties & Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be required to perform the following duties:
• Analyze blueprints and drawings to plan layout and procedures.
• Select appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
• Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements)
• Prepare and assemble components before welding by using hand tools such as hammers and pliers
• Determine the appropriate welding equipment settings by adjusting current, voltage, speed or pressure etc
• Monitor the welding process to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking or distortion of material
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead)
• Repair machinery parts using welders

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
• Experience as a Welder for at least 2 years is required
• Have experience in operating manual and/or semi-automatic welders in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead)
• Knowledge of relevant safety procedures like wearing face shields/masks etc. • Possess good communication skills with the ability to read technical plans/drawings effectively
