JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Barista is responsible for providing an excellent customer service in a professional and timely manner. This includes taking orders, preparing and serving coffee, cleaning and maintaining the café area, as well as interacting with customers. The Barista is also responsible for ensuring that all health and safety regulations are being followed. The duties of the Barista include but not limited to:
• Preparing high-quality coffee beverages and drinks according to customers' specifications;
• Serving food items such as sandwiches, pastries, and other snacks;
• Upselling additional products such as syrups or extra shots;
• Cleaning equipment, counters, tables, and other areas of the cafe as needed;
• Restocking supplies of napkins, cups, lids, cutlery for the cafe area;
• Welcoming guests to the cafe with a warm greeting and offering assistance when needed.
