Job Duties & Responsibilities
As a Pastry Chef in Dubai, your primary responsibilities will include: creating new and innovative recipes for desserts and pastries; preparing ingredients according to recipes; baking cakes, cookies, pies, tarts, cupcakes, pastries, and other desserts; decorating desserts with icing and other toppings; plating desserts for customers; overseeing food safety standards; training junior staff members; maintaining records of inventory; ordering supplies when needed; and managing financial records related to kitchen operations.

Requirements for the Position:
To be considered as a Pastry Chef in Dubai we require: Diplomas or certificates from culinary schools or institutions related to pastry arts; at least 2 years of experience working in a professional kitchen as a pastry chef or baker (if no experience is available then the applicant must possess strong baking skills); excellent organizational skills with attention to detail are essential; ability to work independently as well as part of a team; knowledge of food safety practices; ability to follow instructions accurately while creating recipes from scratch. In addition, the candidate must be able to communicate effectively in English (reading & writing), have excellent customer service skills, possess an excellent attitude towards work ethic & hygiene habits, be willing to learn new techniques & stay up-to-date on industry trends & developments.
