Requirements:
• Medical Degree from an accredited medical school
• Current license to practice medicine in UAE
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as Pediatrician
• Native English speaker or equivalent fluency preferred
• Preferred candidate should have immigration status in the UAE
Job Description:
We are currently looking for a qualified and experienced Pediatrician to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to children from birth to age 18. Primary duties include diagnosis, treatment and prevention of childhood illnesses, administering immunizations, ordering lab tests and prescribing medications as necessary. The ideal candidate should have excellent clinical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with children and their families.
Responsibilities:
• Perform physical examinations of patients to assess general physical condition, diagnose illnesses, prescribe medications and provide treatments.
• Provide counseling on diet, hygiene and preventive health care.
• Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
• Maintain patient records including assessments, treatments and progress notes.
• Order laboratory tests when needed and interpret test results.
• Educate parents regarding child health maintenance and disease prevention.
