Job Description:

Optometrist - Al-Kuwait

We are looking for an Optometrist to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing eye care and vision services to our patients.

Salary: 1500 per month (negotiable). We are open to considering candidates from abroad who have minimal work experience.

Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive eye examinations, including testing visual acuity, refraction, color vision, and binocular vision.
• Diagnose eye diseases such as glaucoma and cataracts.
• Prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses according to the patient's needs.
• Monitor and manage the treatment of ocular disorders.
• Educate patients on proper vision care and use of corrective lenses.
• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health records systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or related field required

• Licensure as an Optometrist in Kuwait (or eligible for licensure) required

• Knowledge of ophthalmic instruments, diagnostic tests, and treatments preferred

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills required

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision required

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required
