Cashier in Jabal-Ali, UAE
We are seeking an experienced Cashier to join our team in Jabal-Ali, United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate will have experience working as a cashier in retail or similar environments and will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and customer service protocols. We prefer an Egyptian national and we offer visa sponsorship and accommodation for the successful applicant.
Responsibilities include:
• Counting the money in the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift
• Processing payments using cash registers, credit cards, and other payment methods
• Maintaining accurate records of daily transactions
• Balancing cash drawers
• Answering customer questions and addressing complaints in a friendly manner
• Providing excellent customer service at all times
• Assisting with inventory management tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a cashier or in a related role
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and customer service protocols
• Good numeracy skills
• Excellent communication abilities (verbal and written)
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree or certification in finance or accounting is preferred.
