Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer, based in Abu Dhabi, to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for developing robust and efficient Java applications. The ideal candidate should have excellent problem solving and communication skills, be able to work independently as well as collaboratively, and have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A salary of 1300 is available for this role and we are open to considering an immigrant.

Responsibilities

The Java Developer will be responsible for developing high-quality applications using Java programming language. The successful candidate will be required to design and develop server-side components, build reusable code, design databases, debug existing applications, develop unit tests and ensure quality control of the software being developed. The role also involves integrating backend components with existing web services and coordinating with other teams in ensuring successful implementation of the project.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any related field with a minimum of 3 years' experience in Java development or related positions. Candidates must demonstrate excellent understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and coding techniques such as Agile methodology as well as exceptional knowledge of relational databases (MySQL/Oracle). It is essential that candidates possess good communication skills and have experience working in a team environment while managing their own tasks effectively. Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript is highly desirable.

Skills

To be successful in this role it is essential that candidates possess strong problem-solving abilities, excellent debugging skills combined with good knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC). Candidates should also have demonstrable experience using frameworks such as Struts or Spring Boot combined with strong knowledge of API integration techniques. Additionally, candidates should have good understanding of cloud computing concepts (AWS/Azure) along with experience in version control systems (GIT) and issue tracking systems (JIRA).
