Al-Kuwait is looking for an Instrument Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in an exciting and dynamic environment, while also having the opportunity to develop their skills and career.

This role requires someone who has a meticulous eye for detail and is comfortable working with complex instrumentation. The successful candidate must be able to read schematics, diagrams and technical documents, as well as be familiar with troubleshooting techniques. Our ideal candidate will have good communication skills and a positive attitude towards problem solving.

The Instrument Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of instrumentation systems in order to ensure their proper functioning. Responsibilities include testing instruments for accuracy, ensuring calibration settings are correct, diagnosing problems with equipment, conducting repairs where necessary and providing ongoing maintenance of instruments. In addition, the Instrument Technician may provide assistance with research projects that require instrumentation systems.

In order to qualify for this role, applicants must have a minimum of one year work experience in a related field or possess equivalent qualifications or experience in instrumentation engineering or similar disciplines. Knowledge of software packages such as AutoCAD would also be beneficial but not essential.
