Job Summary: We are currently looking for a qualified Optometrist to join our team in Al-Kuwait. We are offering an attractive salary of 1100 and are ready to consider an immigrant for the position. The Optometrist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing and treating eye conditions as well as prescribing eyeglasses and contact lenses. The individual will also be responsible for providing advice related to eye care and overall vision health.

Job Responsibilities: The primary responsibilities of the Optometrist include: performing routine optometric tests such as vision acuity, refraction and color vision; diagnosing and treating eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, retinal detachment, macular degeneration; prescribing corrective lenses including eyeglasses and contact lenses; providing advice on proper vision care such as diet, lifestyle modifications; referring patients to ophthalmologists or other specialists when necessary; providing emergency treatment when required; maintaining up-to-date patient records using electronic systems.

Qualifications: To be successful in this role the candidate must have a Doctor of Optometry degree and a valid state license to practice optometry. The ideal candidate should also have excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds. In addition, knowledge of ophthalmic equipment is preferred but not required.
