Job Description:
The Anesthesiologist will be responsible for providing anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This includes administering anesthetics, monitoring vital signs, providing postoperative care, and responding to any emergencies that may arise during surgery. The Anesthesiologist will also be expected to consult with other healthcare professionals on patient care plans and provide patient education on the risks associated with anesthesia.
Qualifications:
Minimum work experience is not required; however, the following qualifications are preferred:
- MD/DO or equivalent degree in Medicine with specialization in Anesthesia
- Board certification or board eligibility in Anesthesia from a recognized medical organization such as American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology (AOBA)
- Current licensure as an Anesthesiologist in Abu Dhabi or authorization to practice medicine in the United Arab Emirates if coming from abroad
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
