Surveyor Vacancy – Al-Kuwait

We are looking for a full-time Surveyor to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The salary is 1100 and we are willing to consider foreign applicants.

Candidate Requirements:
• Degree in surveying or related field
• At least 5 years of professional experience as a surveyor
• Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong mathematical capabilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of surveying software (e.g. AutoCAD) is preferred

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Measure land areas, angles, elevations and distances using specialized equipment
• Interpret aerial photographs, maps, sketches and other data sources to determine position of boundaries, contours and other features on the ground
• Record measurements accurately with the use of appropriate tools (e.g. theodolites)
• Analyze survey data using advanced computer applications
• Prepare detailed reports and maps summarizing survey results

Working Conditions:
This position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods of time. The candidate should be comfortable with long hours of standing/walking while carrying out survey tasks. Travel may be required on occasion for fieldwork purposes.
