Handyman - Part-Time Job with Visa Sponsorship - Jabal-Ali, UAE
We are looking for a part-time Handyman to join our team in Jabal-Ali, UAE. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with experience in maintenance and repair work. The successful candidate should be able to work independently and have strong problem solving skills.
Preference will be given to applicants who speak English and are of Malayalee nationality, however, all candidates who meet the requirements are welcome to apply. The position comes with visa sponsorship for successful applicants.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Carrying out general maintenance and repair works onsite/onshore as required;
- Performing routine checks in order to identify any issues or defects;
- Ensuring that all safety procedures are followed at all times;
- Liaising with other members of the team regarding any maintenance issues;
- Providing advice and guidance on best practices for maintenance and repair works;
- Updating management on the progress of works.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in maintenance and repair works is essential;
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team;
- Good problem solving skills;
- Good communication skills;
- Ability to read technical drawings/schematics (preferred but not essential);
- Valid UAE driving license (preferred but not essential).
