Job Description: Phlebotomist

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Phlebotomist to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing venipuncture, drawing blood samples from patients for laboratory testing and other medical procedures. The Phlebotomist should be able to work with accuracy and ensure the safe collection of blood samples from our patients.

• A valid certification as a phlebotomy technician or certification of completion from an accredited institution

Job Description:
The primary role of the Phlebotomist is to draw blood samples from patients for laboratory testing and other medical procedures. This includes preparing patient's skin with antiseptic prior to drawing blood, selecting appropriate needles or vials, collecting blood into tubes or containers, labeling specimens appropriately, maintaining accurate records, disposing needles, and carefully handling all materials used in drawing blood. The Phlebotomist must also collect additional information such as patient's name, date of birth, address etc., as required by the laboratory. They must also communicate effectively with patients in order to put them at ease during the procedure. Additionally, they will be required to adhere to strict safety protocols throughout the process.
