Job Summary:

Al-Kuwait is looking for an experienced Buyer to join our team! As a Buyer, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services, ensuring that all purchases are of the highest quality and at the most cost-effective prices. You will have the opportunity to develop relationships with suppliers in order to build mutually beneficial partnerships. Your ultimate goal will be to ensure that Al-Kuwait obtains the best value for its money and meets its goals in terms of quality, efficiency, and cost reduction. The Buyer will receive a salary of 1700.

Demands for the Candidate:

We are looking for a motivated individual who is detail-oriented and enjoys working independently but collaboratively when needed. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, as well as strong problem solving abilities. Additionally, they should have strong organizational skills and be able to prioritize tasks. A degree in business or a related field is preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities:

The Buyer's primary responsibility will be to source and purchase products from suppliers while managing all aspects of procurement from start to finish. This includes researching potential suppliers; negotiating prices; monitoring stock levels; ensuring timely delivery; overseeing product quality control; tracking payments; maintaining accurate records; establishing good vendor relationships; resolving any disputes or problems that arise; providing reports on purchasing activities; and adhering to company policies regarding procurement procedures.

Qualifications:
Previous work experience in purchasing/procurement is preferred but not required. Candidates should possess knowledge of basic principles of supply chain management, including budgeting, vendor selection, negotiation tactics, cost analysis techniques, logistics planning, inventory control systems etc. Candidates should also be comfortable working with computers and various software programs such as MS Excel or Google Sheets. Proficiency in English is essential as well as knowledge of Kuwaiti markets/suppliers would be an asset but not mandatory for this role.
