Job Title: Experienced Librarian - Sharjah, UAE (No English Required)

We are looking for an experienced Librarian to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. The successful candidate should have prior experience in a library or similar environment. This is a full-time position and we welcome applications from both men and women, of any nationality (though Pakistani candidates are preferred). The successful candidate will not need to have a good command of English as this is not required for the role. You must already possess a valid visa to be considered for this position.

In this role you will be responsible for organizing and managing the library’s resources, ensuring that all books and other materials are properly catalogued, indexed and easily accessible for patrons. You will also be responsible for maintaining the library’s physical appearance such as arranging books on shelves correctly and tidying up computers and other IT equipment. Additionally, you will provide customer service to patrons, helping them find the information they need.
