Librarian vacancy in Dubai UAE

Library Assistant - Dubai, UAE (Preference for Indian Nationals)
We are looking for an experienced Library Assistant to join our team at our library in Dubai, UAE. This is an urgent position and preference will be given to Indian nationals with excellent English language skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for helping patrons locate materials in the library, assist with borrowing and returning items, as well as providing detailed information about library policies and procedures. They will also be responsible for maintaining the library's collection of books, audio recordings, videos and other materials by organizing and shelving items according to their proper locations. The successful candidate must have excellent customer service skills to ensure a pleasant experience for all patrons.
In addition, they must possess strong organizational abilities in order to properly manage the library's inventory of books and other materials. Knowledge of library software and cataloguing systems is preferred but not required. The successful candidate should also have an understanding of basic computer operations in order to effectively operate the library’s computers and other equipment.
