Librarian – No Experience Necessary – Open to Freshers, Dubai, UAE

We are looking for a Librarian to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with no experience who is interested in developing a career in library science. We are particularly interested in candidates from Africa and Egypt who do not need to have English proficiency.

As a Librarian, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the library. You will be responsible for cataloging and classifying books and other media, as well as maintaining records of library materials. You will also be responsible for helping patrons find books and other materials, as well as providing reference assistance when needed. Additionally, you may be asked to assist with the purchase of new materials or help coordinate library programs or events.

The successful candidate should possess strong organizational skills and have an interest in working with the public. Knowledge of library-related software is a plus but not necessary. Accommodation will not be provided by us but we are willing to help with relocation costs if applicable.
