Mining truck driver vacancy in Umm-al-Qaiwain UAE

Mining Truck Driver - Umm-al-Qaiwain, UAE (Preference for Malayalees)
We are looking for an experienced Mining Truck Driver to join our team in Umm-al-Qaiwain, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be required to operate large mining trucks and other vehicles to transport materials on site.

Responsibilities include:
• Operating mining trucks and other large vehicles in a safe and efficient manner at the mine site
• Inspecting vehicles before and after use for safety and maintenance purposes
• Loading and offloading materials in a safe manner
• Adhering to all applicable safety regulations when operating vehicles
• Maintaining records of vehicle operation times, distances travelled, repairs made, etc.
• Monitoring vehicle performance and alerting supervisors of any issues
• Complying with traffic laws on public roads
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:
• Must have a valid UAE driver's license with experience driving large mining trucks or other heavy machinery
• Must have experience driving on public roads in the UAE
• Must possess strong manual dexterity skills and good judgment when operating vehicles
• Ability to read maps/navigate unfamiliar routes is an asset
• Knowledge of traffic laws & safe driving practices is essential
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends if needed • Preference given to candidates who speak English & Malayalam • Preference given to candidates with own visa & accommodation • Urgent positions available.
