Merchandiser vacancy in Abu-Dhabi UAE

Merchandiser – Abu-Dhabi, UAE (No English Required/Freshers Welcome)
We are looking for a Merchandiser to join our team in Abu-Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing merchandise strategies, including product selection, pricing, and promotion. This position also requires the ability to analyze customer data to determine buying trends and the ability to develop relationships with vendors.

The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in marketing or related field and at least three years of experience in merchandising. Knowledge of retail software is essential. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in the UAE market and who are African nationals or have no language requirements. We also welcome freshers who are interested in this role.

Responsibilities include:
• Developing merchandise strategies in line with business objectives
• Researching customer trends and preferences to identify opportunities for product selection
• Negotiating prices and contracts with vendors
• Maintaining relationships with vendors and customers
• Analyzing sales data to adjust stock levels and pricing strategies accordingly
• Creating visual displays to promote products within stores
• Ensuring store inventory is up-to-date
• Establishing promotions and discounts for products
