Boatswain (Contract Position with Accommodation) - El-Fujairah, UAE
We are looking for a Boatswain to join our team in El-Fujairah, UAE. The ideal candidate should have a biometric passport and be a male of Indian nationality. No English language skills are required for this role. This is a contract position and includes accommodation.

The Boatswain’s main responsibilities will include cleaning the deck, painting and maintaining the vessel’s exterior, and helping with cargo operations. Other duties will include performing routine maintenance checks of the vessel, monitoring fuel levels, and maintaining safety equipment such as life rafts and fire extinguishers. Additional tasks may include preparing meals for crew members, handling lines during docking and undocking operations, and assisting in navigation when required.

The successful candidate should be highly organized with excellent time management skills. They should have strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with crew members and be able to follow instructions from the Captain or other senior personnel on board. The ideal candidate should also have knowledge of basic engineering principles as well as experience in operating winches, cranes, and other deck machinery.
