Livestock specialist vacancy in Abu-Dhabi UAE

Livestock Specialist (Full Time)
We are currently seeking an experienced Livestock Specialist to join our team in Abu-Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will have experience with livestock care and management and will be comfortable working in a full-time role without accommodation or visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities include:
• Monitoring the health of livestock on a regular basis
• Providing veterinary assistance when necessary to ensure proper health and wellbeing
• Administering medications for sick animals or preventative measures for healthy animals
• Maintaining records of animal production data
• Assisting with the training of farm staff in the proper handling and care of livestock
• Ensuring that all livestock is kept in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
• Performing any other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in animal science, agricultural studies, or related field preferred
• At least 3 years of relevant experience working with livestock
• Proven ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a timely manner
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to livestock care and management
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work long hours outdoors
