Librarian - Indians with Accommodation - Dubai, UAE

We are seeking an experienced Librarian to join our team in Dubai, UAE. Preference will be given to Indian applicants. Applicants do not need to have English language proficiency. This is a contract job with accommodation provided.

The primary role of the Librarian is to manage and maintain library resources for users. The successful candidate should be able to provide information services, research assistance, and instruction in the use of library resources and materials. Other duties may include cataloging books and other resources, maintaining library databases, monitoring user behavior in the library, troubleshooting technical problems related to library materials or systems, and creating promotional material for library events and programs.

The ideal candidate for this position should possess excellent communication skills and a passion for helping people access information. A Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field is preferred but not required; however, at least two years' experience working in a library setting is expected. Knowledge of computer applications for libraries such as cataloging systems is also preferred.
