Librarian vacancy in Sharjah UAE

Librarian - Sharjah, UAE (Indian Nationals Preferred)

We are looking for a Librarian to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. The successful candidate must have experience in the library field and preferably be an Indian national who is fluent in English.

The Librarian will be responsible for maintaining and managing the library’s books, periodicals, and other materials. This includes organizing and cataloging new materials, maintaining existing collections, handling overdue items, providing reference services to patrons, and helping patrons locate materials. They will also be responsible for maintaining the library’s computer resources and providing assistance with technology-related issues.

The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills to maintain the library’s collections in an orderly manner. They should also possess good interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patrons while providing reference services. Knowledge of computers and technology is a must so that the librarian can provide assistance with any computer-related issues that arise.
