Librarian - Al-Kuwait, Kuwait
We are looking for a Librarian to join our team in Al-Kuwait, Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the library’s collection of books, periodicals, and other materials; organizing and maintaining the library; and providing reference services. A preference will be given to candidates of Malayalee nationality who do not require English proficiency or accommodation. Candidates must have their own visa.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Managing the library’s catalogues and databases
• Organizing and shelving books, magazines, videos, audio recordings, and other materials
• Providing reference services to patrons
• Answering questions from patrons regarding the resources available in the library
• Ensuring that all library materials are properly maintained and secured
• Assisting with library-related events such as book readings or movie screenings
• Developing library programs to encourage public engagement with the library’s resources
• Supervising staff members involved in library activities.
