What you will do (day in the life):
In this role you will be a Test Engineer responsible for the integration and test of GMD products in the Early Integration Labs. You will assist in lab build-up and execution of GMD Lab integration for the upgrades both hardware and software for all of the GMD elements. You will also develop and release related Test Plans and Procedures required to support test execution. You will be positioned to support the customer and execute critical testing in different lab environments.
Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) is seeking a Mid-Level (Lab Test Engineer) to join the Early Integration Lab development team.
Work Location:   Huntsville AL
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed work location.
A Mid-level Lab Test Engineer on this team will:
Provide Integration and Execution Support to Early Integration LabsLead integration activities and implementation of the System Under Test (SUT) and support test execution activities in the Early Integration LabsWork with team of engineers system administrators network engineers console operators product subject matter experts and subcontractors to coordinate all phases of integration test checkout and verification Develop review and release Test Plans and Procedures required for test executionUtilize basic engineering troubleshooting skills and configuration management best practicesOpenly communicate and collaborate across engineering and non-engineering functionsDevelop Review and Release Post-Test DocumentationSupport relevant meetings reviews briefings and working groups Work effectively in a rapid paced team environmentRequirements:
Experience in the following areas:
Collaborating with customers to understand test requirements and test objectivesIntegrating multiple complex components into a system-level architectureDocumenting and Trouble-shooting hardware and software anomalies in a fast paced environmentSupporting the adjudication process for documented hardware and software anomaliesDeveloping test procedures for critical software and hardware testingWorking in a Collaborative Environment with different Engineering DisciplinesProviding direction and technical support to teams within the Engineering FunctionThis position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. (An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required.)
This position requires clearing a background check and an enhanced Personal Conflict of Interest (PCI) requirements as a condition for employment.

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA ABET accreditation is the preferred although not required accreditation standard.
