Jeppesen A Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Manager of their Data Management team based in Gdańsk Poland
Position overview:
Manages technical analysts and first-level managers performing activities across Intelligence analysis disciplines including navigation domain plans designs development and analysis data review analysis and reporting all-source analytic research training and reporting analytic methodology development training and application employment of various analytic capabilities.Develops and executes integrated departmental plans policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies goals objectives.Acquires resources for department activities provides technical management of suppliers internal and external service providers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports.Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes.Manages develops and motivates technical analysts and first-level managers.
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future

Job requirements and responsibilities:
Establishes and executes on integrated Global Data Management strategy and priorities in accordance to the Data Services strategy and objectives.Oversees data management processes or operational improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of operations.Achieves operational results which meet or exceed customer expectations while improving quality and overall operational performance.Works in collaboration with peers to establishes and maintains key performance metrics across the Global Data Management organization.Prioritizes and partners for technology enhancements and technical debt management to enable smooth GDM production delivery.Ensures organizational development recognition and motivation of the staff.Effective communication with peers customers staff and suppliers regarding vision strategy operational and cultural expectations.Software development and/or IT experience is a plus
Basic Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in managing a diverse team of line managers and technical expertsProven cross-departmental and cross-location professional experienceEffective communication technique adaptable to all levels of the organization in business and servicesStrong written and verbal communication skills proficient in Business English
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven track of working with technical leadership in the multicultural and global environmentTools and support/internal services knowledgeBachelor’s degree in management/technical field or equivalent experience Critical thinking attention to detail positive attitude Willingness to create and implement process improvements and ability to see the big pictureIT and Software experience with digital transformation
Important information regarding this requisition: This requisition is for a locally hired position in Gdansk. Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in Poland. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
